I have already entered my busy season and have been away more than I’ve been home this month. Part of that was a much needed vacation in southern California.
So a quick run down of what’s been happening, and what’s coming up. Earlier this month I had four prints installed at the Aspen Lodge in Banff, Alberta as part of their interior redesign. I also have work being featured at the Marriott’s Renaissance hotel in Bloomfield, Colorado; and the Westin Seattle.
Next month I’ll be involved in two art walks. One in Calgary on June 8th and one in Red Deer June 16th. Also on June 8th is the Calgary Stampede’s special charity gala and art auction which will feature one of my original cyanotypes. Unfortunately I won’t be able to attend, but if you are interested in this invitation only event please let me know right away so I can arrange an invitation for you.
I am also pleased to be participating in the Coastal Arts Leagues Through A Lens Vibrant exhibition opening July 1st, 2012 in Half Moon Bay, California; and in the Federation of Canadian Artist’s Drawing Exhibition opening June 12th, 2012 at the Federation Gallery at Granville Island, Vancouver, BC.
I will be in Calgary again July 5th for Art Walk and in Sylvan Lake 2 days later for their summer arts sale. Throw in some more workshops, wedding, reunions, and other events and it’s going to be a crazy busy few months.
