I started this image by developing the digital negative in camera raw to create a dark background with high contrast to keep the flowers from disappearing. Then in Photoshop I created a series of dark and light luminosity masks to control contrast and light values with curves adjustment layers. I ran the image through Radlab using the Lights Out, Contrast, Orange You Glad, and Lux Soft stylets.
Atelier Textures used were as follows:
Herzog > Soft Light > 70% (masked flowers then blurred texture layer to soften the texture over the petals)
Leighton > Overlay > 100%
Uccello > Exclusion > 20%

Roberta, this is beautiful. I’m really loving your textures because my style is bold rather than faded and they work great. The link goes to a post on my blog, to a picture on which I’ve used the Dali texture.

Thanks Elise. I’m going to check out your blog. I always like to see what other people are doing with the textures!
