My Xplorenet (highly unreliable and slow) Satellite Internet system has experienced an equipment failure and I am now without an Internet connection. I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause, but I will be unable to respond to emails for the next week or so.
I will be a finalist in two magazine publications photo contests early in 2009. I placed in Photo Life’s annual international photo contest. The magazine with winning images will be published in February 2009. I also placed in Cowboys & Indians western photo contest which will be published in March 2009.
Several shows are lined up already for 2009, starting with Exposure 2009 show at Arts On Atlantic in February. Followed by Looking Glass at the VAAA Gallery in mid-February. More will be announced when the dates are finalized.
It’s nice when the new year hasn’t even arrived, but is already looking so promising. Here’s to hoping each of you also have positive prospects for 2009. Best wishes for the holidays.
I will be participating in the Gallery IS annual Miniatures Show and Sale from December 1 - 31, 2008. Gallery IS is located at 4930 Ross St. Red Deer, Alberta. Please come out and support this great show featuring small scale 2D and 3D art! Excellent gift idea’s are sure to be found.
I will have this print “Big Red Barn”, Soul Of A Butterfly, Walk On Water and possibly some others available. Prints will be 5×7 framed to 8×10.
I unveiled the new site design today. There’s still some work left to do as far as putting in text for all the images, but I’m not going to make that a big priority right now. I went with this type of design because it’s easier for me to manage the individual galleries, especially when it comes to adding new work; and it offers better opportunities for future growth and new features.

I’m doing a big overhaul to the website over the next little while, so you’ll probably be seeing some ‘construction’ mess. Please just disregard the mess! I’m trying to change the gallery system to something a little easier for me to manage by incorporating it into my Word Press set up. I also want to add a shopping cart, but I don’t know if this will really happen or not. Ultimately I wanted that done in October before the holidays, but it didn’t happen. I’m finding it difficult to find enough time to dedicate to this behind the scenes type of things.
